One dead and several injured in downtown Renton.
A shooting in Renton, Washington left at least one person dead and several others injured in the early hours of Saturday (local time), police said.
The Renton Police Department said they responded to a call of multiple shots fired on Logan Ave S just before 1 a.m. when they found one person dead and “multiple casualties.”
At least one of them was treated at the scene, the police announced. And according to the police, the shooting happened from a “disagreement” between people in a “large gathering”.
No suspects are yet in custody, the police department said, adding that several gunmen may have been involved.
“Due to the large crowd, multiple agencies were called to assist,” police said, warning residents to avoid the area as it is still an active scene.
