Johnson‘s associates in the British government are leaving.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson continues to suffer back-to-back blows, with several key government figures resigning.
Trade envoy David Duguid and parliamentary private secretary James Sunderland have just announced their resignations, bringing the total to 38.
In a statement, Daguid said that “In light of recent events, I believe that the position of the Prime Minister is now unstable. Having expressed my concerns earlier this week, it is my intention to step down from the position of Fisheries Envoy and Trade Envoy for Angola and Zambia.”
Sunderland resigned as PPS at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) shortly after Daguid.
We emphasize that during yesterday and today, four ministers resigned as well as the vice president of the Conservative party.
Otherwise, Johnson has declared that he has no intention of resigning from the post of prime minister.
