FaZe and Astralis secure the “Play-Off”.
Teams FaZe and Astralis have joined teams Na’Vi and Movistar Riders in the “Play-Offs” of the IEM Cologne CS:GO tournament, which is being held in the city of Cologne, Germany.
The best team in the world, FaZe defeated Team Spirit 2-0 on aggregate with maps to advance to the Play-Offs.
On the other hand, Astralis surprised the Cloud9 team with a 2-0 overall score with maps where Benjamin ‘blameF’ Bremer shined.
Now both teams will meet each other in the “Play-Off”, and the winning team of this match will go to the semi-finals, while the other team will go to the quarter-finals.
At the moment, two matches are being played in the ‘Lower Bracket’, where the losing teams will be eliminated from the tournament that distributes prizes worth about 1 million dollars.
The match between FaZe and Astralis will take place tomorrow (Sunday) starting at 19:30, in the ‘Bo3’ format, and will be streamed on ESL’s official Twitch channel.
