Eight candidates in the race to replace Boris Johnson.
Eight candidates will compete to take the place of Boris Johnson, as Prime Minister of Great Britain and at the same time leader of the Conservative Party.
The nominated candidates are Kemi Badenoch, Suella Braverman, Jeremy Hunt, Penny Mordaunt, Rishi Sunak, Tom Tugendhat, Lizz Trus and Nadhim Zahawi.
British lawmakers Sajid Javid and Rehman Chrishti had expressed interest in running, but withdrew before the final list of candidates was drawn up.
They must receive a minimum of 20 votes to be nominated on this list. The first round of voting is expected to begin tomorrow.
Otherwise, Boris Johnson was forced to withdraw from this post after numerous pressures, both from his own party and from others.
