Details about the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra revealed.
About a month ago, rumors suggested that the Galaxy S23 and S23+ will have the same telephoto cameras as their predecessors (10MP 3x). Galaxy Club points out that this will be the case with the Ultra model as well.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will use a periscope sensor, with 10x zoom and 10MP resolution.
These are the basic specs that the S21 Ultra and S22 Ultra models have (the S20 Ultra had a 48MP 4x periscope camera).
However, there is still room for improvement in image quality, as Samsung could implement better optics or a larger sensor and obviously better photo processing.
There remains the issue of the second telephoto camera. At the moment, it is not clear if it will remain the same as before (the company used a 10MP 3x module for the last two generations) or if we will see some improvements here as well.
The biggest improvement on the S23 Ultra model probably has to be the main camera. Rumors suggest that the South Korean giant will switch from the current model’s 108MP HM3 sensor to a 200MP sensor (HP1, 1/22″, 0.64µm).
