Britain estimates that Russia has lost around 50000 soldiers.
Admiral Tony Radakin, the head of the UK armed forces, has estimated that 50,000 Russian soldiers have been killed or wounded in the invasion of Ukraine.
He said that Russia has lost more than 30 percent of its ground combat effectiveness with nearly 1,700 tanks and around 4,000 armored fighting vehicles destroyed, the Telegraph reports.
“The invasion has killed or wounded 50,000 Russian soldiers and destroyed about 1,700 Russian tanks, as well as about 4,000 armored fighting vehicles.”
“But Russia remains a nuclear power. He has cyber capabilities, he has space capabilities, and he has special underwater programs to threaten the underwater cables that allow the world’s information to pass across the globe,” he said.
