A verbal agreement is reached for De Ligt.
Bayern Munich has reached a verbal agreement with Juventus for Matthijs de Ligt, reports Fabrizio Romano.
According to the transfer expert, the Bavarians will pay 80 million euros for the Dutchman’s card, with a contract until 2027.
“Matthijs de Ligt to FC Bayern, here we go! The verbal agreement was reached tonight after the clubs were in contact throughout the day – the final offer accepted by Juventus for the package worth more than 80 million euros.”
“De Ligt has already agreed personal terms and will sign until June 2027,” read Romano’s post.
De Ligt was strongly wanted by Chelsea, but the player has chosen Bayern, with the Blues then focusing on Kalidou Koulibaly, who was transferred this week from Napoli for 40 million euros.
