Yekindar will play for the Liquid team in the IEM Cologne.
The Liquid team has announced that they will play with the Lithuanian star, Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis, in IEM Cologne, the last big event of the season, where the new coach of the North American team, Damian, will also be present.
This announcement comes after the veteran Richard “shox” Papillon was put on the bench, as well as the departure of the “adreN” coach.
Yekindar after leaving the Outsiders team after last May, has remained as a free agent and is looking for his new home.
At the IEM Cologne tournament, the Liquid team will compete for a prize pool of nearly one million dollars, where the best teams in the world will face off.
In addition to Yekindar, who will play as a replacement for Liquid, the team has also added new coach Damian “daps” Steele, who will help the team to victory.
The IEM Cologne tournament, which will be held in Cologne, Germany, is expected to start on July 7 and a total of 16 teams will compete.
