Shocking declaration on Russian TV.
“60 Minutes” is the main show of debate and analysis on Russian state television: a studio discussion that promotes the Kremlin’s line on everything, including President Vladimir Putin’s so-called “special military operation” in Ukraine.
It is often claimed that the Russian offensive is going according to plan.
But a guest in the studio, Mikhail Khodarenok, a retired military analyst and colonel, presented a completely different picture.
He warned that “the situation for Russia will clearly worsen” as Ukraine was receiving additional military assistance from the West and that “the Ukrainian army could arm a million people”.
Referring to the Ukrainian soldiers, he noted that “the desire to defend their homeland is great.”
“The final victory on the battlefield is determined by the high morale of the troops that are shedding blood for the ideas they are ready to fight for.”
“The biggest problem with Russia’s military and political situation,” he continued, “is that we are in total political isolation and the whole world is against us, even if we do not want to accept it. “We have to resolve this situation.”
“The situation can not be considered normal when against us is a coalition of 42 states and when our military-political and military-technical resources are limited.”
