Laporta reveals the salary of Mbappe at Real Madrid.
Joan Laporta, the president of FC Barcelona, participated in the ‘Tot Costa’ program of Catalunya Ràdio, where he revealed in the last part of the interview a very surprising fact about the salary that Kylian Mbappé can receive at Real Madrid.
Laporta stated that Mbappe is asking for “40-50 million euros net” in the season, far from the possibilities of Barcelona, and that most likely this will be paid by Real Madrid.
“They will not win the Champions League, neither one nor the other,” he added, alluding to Erling Haaland who went to Manchester City.
The president insisted on the economic importance of the club, saying that Barcelona will no longer receive players with salaries of “25 to 30 million euros”.
This is because, according to him, it is an insult to the young people who have recently renewed their contracts with the Barcelona club.
