Tech billionaire Elon Musk wants to allow former US President Donald Trump back on Twitter.
Musk said he would reverse the permanent ban at a Financial Times conference. Musk called the decision to permanently ban Trump’s account “morally wrong.”
A few weeks ago, Musk agreed with Twitter on a complete takeover of the short message service, the shareholders should be paid out.
Both before and after the acquisition announcement, Musk has repeatedly promoted his ideas about total free speech.
Twitter blocked Trump from the platform at the end of his term as US President because his tweets before and during the riots in Washington on the storming of the Capitol are said to have contributed to the escalation.
