Witcher 3 sold more than 40 million copies.
Project Red recently held a meeting with investors, where some interesting information about the business and sale of video games was revealed.
The company noted that The Witcher franchise has sold over 65 million copies worldwide. During this year, Witcher 3 alone has sold over 40 million units, while in 2020 a sales of 30 million copies of both games were recorded.
A bigger increase was expected in terms of Witcher 3 sales, but unfortunately the next-generation console game update has been postponed indefinitely.
The update was originally developed by Saber Interactive, but Project Red meanwhile halted development thinking of bringing innovations that have not been seen before.
