Twitter will add “edit button”.
It’s a feature that Twitter users have been looking for for so long that it has become a meme, but now the “edit button” is becoming a reality.
Twitter has announced that it is working to allow users to modify their tweets after posting.
The idea is that you will be able to fix any errors in any status without sacrificing any response, retweet or even approval that the post may have received.
Twitter plans to start testing the feature with Twitter Blue subscribers in the “coming months,” the company said.
Jay Sullivan, the company’s vice president of consumer products, said editing has been “the most sought-after feature on Twitter for many years.” The company has been working on how to build the feature “in a safe way since last year”.
“Now that everyone is asking. Yes we have been working on an editorial feature since last year. “No, we did not get the idea from a poll,” the company wrote in a post, apparently referring to a poll published by Elon Musk.
