Samsung is working on a new program.
Samsung has announced a new self-repair program that will give Galaxy customers access to parts, tools and instructions for repairing their devices.
According to reports, the program is in collaboration with the parts and repair instructions website, iFix, which has worked with manufacturers such as Motorola and Steam on similar ventures.
The Galaxy S20 and S21 series phones as well as the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus are first in line for spare parts – but not for Samsung’s latest family of S22 phones.
“We are working with Samsung to improve the offerings of their repair guide and DIY parts,” said iFix CEO Kyle Wiens.
