Lavrov: Our operations aims to end US domination.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Moscow would not suspend its military operations before the next round of peace talks with Ukraine.
Defending Russia’s invasion, Lavrov says he has wider implications beyond Ukraine itself.
“Our special military operation was designed to end the reckless expansion of the US goal of full dominance in the international arena,” he said.
In an interview with the news channel Rossiya-24, he says he saw no reason why the talks should not go ahead.
Otherwise, Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer is staying in Moscow today, where he will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
