If Ukraine had better weapons we would end the war.
In his latest video addressed to the nation, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that if Ukraine had access to better weapons than Russian ones, the war would end.
Zelenskyy said: “In all my interviews and negotiations with the leaders of the democratic world, it is unfair that Ukraine is still forced to seek what its partners have accumulated over the years”.
He even insists that if these countries, according to him, have the weapons and ammunition that Ukraine needs, “it is their moral duty to help protect freedom, to save the lives of thousands of Ukrainians.”
In Kharkiv, Donbas, and the Dnipropetrovsk region, meanwhile, Russian military activity has grown – targeting civilian infrastructure.
“The fate of the tens of thousands of Mariupol residents who have been displaced from Russian controlled territory – remains unknown,” Zelenskyy added.
