DJI bans drone sales in Russia and Ukraine

DJI bans drone sales in Russia and Ukraine.

DJI has temporarily suspended sales and all business activities in Russia and Ukraine.

According to foreign media, DJI decided on this action due to the Russian occupation of Ukraine, which began in February.

Unlike Western ones, most Chinese companies continued to do business in Russia, with the exception of DJI.

The Ukrainians have previously said that Russian forces used DJI products to “launch” their missiles during their attacks.

“Our drones have preserved endangered species, saved global landmarks from destruction, and saved lives all over the world”.

“DJI has only ever made products for civilian use; they are not designed for military applications”.

“DJI does not want its drones to be used to cause damage, so we are temporarily suspending sales in those countries to ensure that neither side uses drones in combat,” a DJI spokesman was quoted as saying.
