Zelensky: You only care about economy.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has sharply criticized Western leaders as he addressed the German parliament.
He said that while Russian forces had gathered along the border with Ukraine before the invasion, Western leaders acted belatedly and did not go that far to drive out Russia.
“All you were interested in was the economy,” Zelensky said.
He was critical and questioned whether Ukraine would join the NATO military alliance – saying “there is no place at this table for them”.
According to him, there is “a wall” in Europe between freedom and lack of freedom.
Germany, meanwhile, has previously been criticized for its backlash and reluctance to crack down on Russia.
