Sony and Honda join forces.
The first Honda electric models will be produced on the platform behind which Sony stands, and they should be ready in early 2025.
Sony’s electric car concept, Vision-S, has undoubtedly been the big surprise at the 2020 technology and electronics fair held in Las Vegas.
In this year’s edition Sony unveiled the concept of the electric SUV Vision-S 02, with which the Japanese company announces to join into the world of electric vehicles.
Two months after Sony announced that their strategic partner with whom it will develop and manufacture the electric car will be the Japanese company Honda.
The new company should start work before the end of the year, and if everything goes according to plan, buyers will be able to have it in their garage in early 2025.
It is not known if the serial production will be based on the two Sony prototype concepts that were introduced in Las Vegas, but it is known that they will be produced in Honda factories.
