Renault is bringing a new SUV called Austral.
Positioned as a rival to the Ford Kuga and Toyota RAV4, the new Austral model is the first from the Renault brand to use the new third-generation CMF-CD platform, which has been co-developed with partners Mitsubishi and Nissan.
What you need to know about the Renault Austral model?
The new Austral model will be offered for sale with two options which have full hybrid systems, combining 1.2-liter three-cylinder engines with an electric motor to deliver 157bhp and 196 bhp.
The Renault brand claims that this combination will reduce the emission to only 105g / km of CO2.
There will also be an alternative model which combines the same motor with 48V batteries.
But beyond the performance part, the Austral model was immediately welcomed because of his elegant style and sporty look for a SUV.
The interior will be extremely advanced in terms of technology and Austral is expected to soon become one of the most sought after cars in Europe!
