Bennett:Israel stands firm with the people of Ukraine.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett says Israel stands firm with Ukraine.
The Israelis have set up a field hospital in Ukraine to care for the wounded.
It is also doing what it can to help end this war.
This was stated by Bennett at a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Jerusalem.
“As far as the war in Ukraine is concerned, Israel stands firm with the people of Ukraine and will continue our efforts to help alleviate suffering and end the bloodshed. “We have already sent our senior medical teams to set up the most advanced field hospital inside Ukraine on the western side,” he said.
“I have been informed that they have already cared for and treated over 500 patients. “At this very moment, doctors and nurses are risking their lives to save the lives of people in need.”
“I’m proud of what Israel is doing. And of course we are doing what we can when we are asked to contribute to the efforts to end this war. “We do this by maintaining close coordination with the United States and our European partners.”
