Russia has announced that it has carried out a massive attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

The Russian defense ministry said it had used high-precision weapons to knock out power supplies in several regions of Ukraine.

He claimed that the attacks had disrupted the production and repair of military equipment as well as the movement of reserve troops.

Ukraine yesterday claimed to have shot down 54 of 69 missiles fired by Russia in the early hours of the morning – but at least four people were killed.

On Thursday, 90 percent of people in the western city of Lviv and 40 percent of those in Kiev are without electricity.

Otherwise, Russia has launched an unjustified invasion of the Ukrainian state on February 24, causing thousands of casualties and extensive damage to infrastructure.
