Fury warns Ronaldo: Age catches up with everyone

Tyson Fury has warned Cristiano Ronaldo that age catches up with everyone.

The Portuguese superstar is not going through the best moments of his career, after terminating his contract with Manchester City, and now the problems are also taking him to the Portugal team in the World Championship.

The 37-year-old once again made headlines in the sports media after being left on the bench for the match against Switzerland and was even reported to have threatened to leave Qatar 2022.

After the 6-1 win, many believe that Portugal are playing better without CR7 in the team.

Boxing champion Tyson Fury, a Manchester United fan, has warned Ronaldo that his time at the top of football is coming to an end.

“Then (when I defeated Klitschko) it was Everest. I was the underdog, people thought he was going to tear me to pieces and he was the unified champion for about 11 years, and at one point he was thought to be undefeated, but I went to Germany and beat him.”

“In this game, it’s not just about how good someone is relative to someone else, it’s a lot about natural things like age, and at 38 you’re in decline, whether you want it to be or not. accept it or not”.

“If you look at Cristiano Ronaldo, he is 37 years old, he has had the best doctors, the best physiotherapists, he has lived like an egg in Mr Kipling’s cake. But even Ronaldo is already on the slide. So even someone who has taken care of himself in that way, time comes…”.

“So imagine a boxer who has been beaten to pieces for 20 years. The age factor will not wait for anyone, regardless of how he lived”.

“It doesn’t matter if you haven’t had a glass (of alcohol) in your life, if you haven’t run on hard surfaces, it doesn’t matter who you are, age will catch up with you,” said Fury.
