In a terrible accident on the roads of the Russian state, a politician trampled a child to death and did not spend a minute behind bars.

In the Novosibirsk region, the court has closed the case against the former deputy of Vladimir Putin’s party, “United Russia”, Sergey Mamontov.

He had hit a six-year-old child and left the scene as the child died after a while.

The family of the dead child is said to have dropped the criminal prosecution against Mamontov after he paid a compensation of one million rubles (about 13,600 euros).

International media have many times reported that justice does not work for Putin’s close people.

Otherwise, Russia is known as a country where the laws do not apply when it comes to people in power, while it applies to opponents of the Kremlin, as was the case with the main opposition Alexei Navalny, who was nearly two years ago.
