Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has answered the journalist’s question about the possibility of peace talks with Russia.
“We don’t have time for diplomacy. They lie, this is not diplomacy. They say they want diplomatic relations and stop the war, but this is a lie. Last night they said that they are ready and that Ukraine is not ready, but today they attacked us with 54 missiles. They are crazy. They have sick minds. What are they talking about if they attack us with 54 missiles in half a day? I think they live on another planet,” added Zelensky.
The journalist asked him if this means that there is no compromise, and only victory, the Ukrainian president answered briefly.
“There is no question of compromise, of course the victory is important. But we need to take a few steps back,” added Zelensky.
On the other hand, the Russian forces have intensified air attacks, thus hitting the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, where as a result hundreds of settlements have been left without electricity and water.
