The Rimac Nevera is no longer the fastest car in the world

Rimac Nevera did not hold the flattering title for long, but there is no reason to worry.

The Croatian hypercar is still number one when it comes to top speed, but it is no longer the fastest accelerating car in the world.

With an acceleration to 100 km/h in less than 2 seconds and a top speed of 412 km/h, the Nevera is one of the fastest, but also fastest, production cars in the world. According to the current official data, the number of titles has been reduced, so the Nevera is “only” the fastest electric car in the world.

In the acceleration segment, Pininfarina Battista beat it. For those less in the know, it’s actually the Nevera’s twin brother, which has so far leaned towards GT racing with a sleeker look and a higher dose of luxury and customization. However, the latest data shows that it is a very fast car.

This car reaches 100 km/h in 1.86 seconds, while the indicator will show 200 km/h after only 4.75 seconds.

The aforementioned accelerations were achieved in recent tests conducted in Dubai. For example, the Nevera will reach 96 km/h (60 mph) in the same time interval, while it will take 1.97 seconds to reach 100 km/h and 160 km/h in 4.3 seconds. Battista’s top speed is 350 km/h.

In terms of range, the Nevera with a full battery covers 490 km and the Battista 483.
