Erdogan meets with Biden on of the G20 Leaders Summit

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has held a meeting with his American counterpart, Joe Biden, in Indonesia, to discuss bilateral and regional issues.

Biden, at the bilateral meeting at the G20 Summit, expressed his condolences to President Erdogan for the victims of the terrorist attack in Istanbul.

Biden thanked President Erdogan for his efforts to resolve the problem in the grain corridor between Russia and Ukraine that ensured the resumption of shipments.

Also, in the meeting with President Erdogan, Biden said that Turkey is an important actor in the process of Sweden’s membership in NATO.

The meeting takes place on the sidelines of the G20 Leaders’ Summit being held on the Indonesian island of Bali.
