Joe Biden has reiterated his plans to run for a second term as president.
He says it has always been his intention to run again, regardless of the outcome of the US midterm elections.
However, it has not yet been decided, as Mr Biden says he is a “big respecter of luck and this is ultimately a family decision”.
Biden says he hopes he can “go away” with his wife Jill between Christmas and Thanksgiving and will make a decision by “early next year.”
His statement comes as Americans await the results of the US midterm elections.
