Two people were killed by gunfire at a hospital in the city of Dallas, in the US state of Texas.
Police identified the suspect and wounded him.
Nestor Hernandez, 30, was arrested after a health system police officer wounded him at Methodist Medical Center in Dallas, police said in a statement.
Hernandez was taken to another hospital for treatment.
The names of the victims have not yet been released. Hernandez was on bail after an aggravated robbery, police said in a statement.
