Shocking video shows the moment a barrel of liquid nitrogen exploded in a failed chemistry experiment in Spain – sending 15 people, including nine children, to hospital.
The explosion from the experiment at the House of Culture in Girona left people with burns, who were treated at the “Placa de l’Spital”.
The footage shows the crowd, consisting mostly of children and some parents, eagerly waiting to see the experiment.
The experiment is said to have been organized by the local university, while the crowd there stares at the barrels.
Smoke can be seen coming out of one of the barrels at the beginning of the video.
