The Honda Civic Type-R is even more powerful in its new edition.
According to the Japanese brochure, the new Type-R has a 2.0 petrol turbo under the hood that now produces 243 kW/330 hp and 420 Nm.
The gearbox is manual, with six speeds.
The car is 4.59 meters long, 1.89 meters wide and 1.44 meters high. The wheelbase is 2735 mm.
With a mass of 1,430 kg, the car is only 14 kg heavier than the previous generation.
The only “minus” Civic records in the size of the rims, the diameter of which compared to its predecessor has been reduced from 20 to 19 inches, while the tires are now even wider.
Since the brochure does not show acceleration and top speed, we have to wait a little longer for the most interesting data.
