A pilot was killed when his plane crashed during a flying competition in Reno, Nevada.
The video posted on social networks shows several planes racing and many spectators looking away watching the acrobatics, when suddenly the worst happened.
A plane appears to have lost control and crashed directly into the ground, resulting in a powerful explosion that claimed the life of the pilot.
The death of the pilot who participated in the race was also confirmed by the executive director of the Reno Air Racing Association, Fred Telling.
“We can confirm that during the race in the third circle, a fatal accident occurred,” added Telling.
