One million tons of grain were exported from Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said his country exported one million tons of agricultural products via the Black Sea.

He said this late on Friday evening during his regular nightly speech.

“Since the first day of August, 44 ships with Ukrainian grain have left our ports in 15 countries.

In total, there are one million tons of products. We have received requests for 70 more ships,” Zelensky emphasized.

We emphasize that the export started after the agreement reached with Turkey and the United Nations at the end of July.

“The goal of Ukraine and Kiev is to export three million tons in one month,” added the head of the Ukrainian state. Otherwise, Ukraine is one of the most powerful European countries in supplying the world with wheat and corn.
