Elon Musk’s father has said during an interview that he is not proud of his billionaire son, saying that Elon is unhappy with his career progress.
During the strange interview on Monday, 76-year-old Errol Musk was asked if he was proud of Elon’s achievements.
And Errol replied, “No. You know, we’re a family that’s been doing a lot of things for a long time, it’s not like we started doing something all of a sudden.”
The elder Musk said he and his children with his first wife – Elon, Kimbal and Tosca – have seen and done many things together such as traveling to China, the Amazon rainforest and other places.
However, in Monday’s interview he admitted that Elon, the founder of Tesla and the boss of SpaceX, has come a long way compared to his siblings.
However, compared to Elon, Errol said during the interview that his other son, Kimbal Musk, is the “pride and joy” of his life.
Kimbal is a restaurant owner and chef with an estimated net worth of $700 million, although Errol claimed that Kimbal was also a billionaire.
Errol’s interview on Monday came just days after his son decided to file a countersuit against Twitter, escalating his legal battle against the social media giant over his attempts to back out of a $44 billion acquisition deal.
