Uganda discovers about 31 million tons of gold.
Gold is considered an ascetic in absence but the state of Uganda has announced that their recent analyzes show that there are about 31 million metric tons of gold mineral that has been found and is expected to be mined.
The Ministry of Energy and Mining Development has said that they have about 320 thousand 158 tons of refined gold at their disposal.
The value of 31 million tons of gold is equal to 12.8 trillion dollars.
The Ugandan government has licensed the Chinese firm, Wagagai, to start production in Busia district.
The discovery of this amount of gold is calculated to give a big boost to the economy of this state.
