Information technology experts have identified a malicious application called Process Manager, which acts as a spy software for Android that transmits your information to hackers.
Earlier, a malware for Android related to the Russian hacker group Turla had wreaked havoc, and now it has been revealed that the application uses the infrastructure that it had previously sent to hackers to see what they are really interested in.
Turla is a group of Russian hackers backed by the Kremlin to carry out various tasks. They use certain ‘malware’ to target various European and American systems – so they are spying.
The FBI and other US security services, meanwhile, have called for more caution as certain groups of Russian-funded Russian hackers target various companies.
