But with the start of the second half, Man City got back into the game immediately finding the net.
Jeack Grealish scored in the 47th minute for 3-1 after a beautiful action.
All Manchester City did was score a goal at the end of the match, when Bernardo Silva scored in the empty net for 3-2.
Liverpool advance to the FA Cup final where they host the winner of the match Chelsea – Crystal Palace.
