Russian troops kidnap another mayor in Ukraine.

Russian invaders have abducted Dniprorudne mayor Yevhen Matveyev in the Vasylivka district of Zaporizhia region.

“At 08:30 today, March 13, the army of the Russian Federation kidnapped the mayor of Dniprorudne in the Vasylivka district of the Zaporizhia region,” posted on Facebook Ivan Arefev, spokesman for the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration.

The Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration also informs that enemy soldiers intimidate the local population to undermine public trust in representatives of public authorities and local communities, spread false news and constantly take the local population hostage.

In addition, Russian occupiers forcibly confiscate food, clothing, and personal hygiene items at checkpoints.

Just yesterday, the Russians destroyed the bridge over the Yanchokrak River.

Earlier, Melitopol mayor Ivan Fedorov and local resident Serhiy Kirichuk were also abducted.
