Johnson: Putin’s barbaric actions are testing all of humanity.
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson spoke this afternoon with the President of Ukraine, Zelensky.
A spokesman for the prime minister said: “Johnson praised the president and the Ukrainian people for their resilience. “Putin’s barbaric actions were testing not only Ukraine, but all of humanity.”
Leaders condemned the killings of Brent Reynaud and countless innocent Ukrainians, as well as the abduction of the mayors of Dniprorudne and Melitopol.
“He said the UK would continue to pursue more options to strengthen Ukraine’s self-defense, working with partners, including Tuesday’s meeting of the Joint Expeditionary Force in London.”
The United Kingdom will continue to stand behind Ukraine in all its efforts to end this catastrophic conflict.
Zelensky also had a telephone conversation with the Czech Prime Minister, Petr Fiala, where they talked about the current situation in Ukraine.
